Review
Renault Kadjar (15 - present)
Sharing many parts with the hugely successful Nissan Qashqai – the Kadjar is already off to a winning start among crossover fans. The styling is typically Renault though, that oversized lozenge on the grill promising a bit of French flair – and delivering. It offers tonnes of kit inside a comfortable and well-finished cabin and an efficient range of whisper-quiet engines for a very refined driving experience. Being a crossover, it's hugely practical too – with plenty of room for five and a large, versatile boot that can be configured in various different ways.
Look out for
- The four-wheel drive option is probably not worth it for the premium and increase in running costs

- Stylish and exciting new entry to the crossover segment
- Well-specced, comfortable interior
- Some excellent safety features as standard
- Good range of fuel efficient engines
- Solid platform in terms of reliability
What we don't like
- Like the Qashqai, it can roll a bit on corners
